The most powerful leaders I know aren’t the loudest. They’re the most present.
About Me.
Since 1990, I have guided corporate leaders and entrepreneurs in mastering the art of communication, beginning as a founding partner of Amsterdam’s Executive Performance Training, continuing through my practice, Stand & Deliver Performance Coaching, established in 2005, and evolving to the work I offer today.

Drawing from three decades as a professional classical singer, I bring both rigorous theatrical training and deep experiential wisdom to my coaching methodology. This foundation enables me to help clients discover and cultivate their distinctive voice as leaders.

My approach integrates intuitive insight with proven techniques, allowing me to rapidly recognize each client's innate abilities and unlock their potential for powerful, genuine expression. In addition to my Physical. Vocal and Theatrical training, my expertise spans multiple disciplines. They include Transformational Leadership, Clean Language and Emergent Knowledge methodologies, the somatic practice of Breathexperience, and the meditation practice of The Lightwork.
I work with leaders to prioritize their capacity to listen exquisitely, and then liberate themselves to speak with ease, confidence and expressive freedom. My commitment is to help clients embody what I call the Humanity of Leadership – to become known as a listener who responds with strength, generosity, and clarity in every interaction.

Some of the organizations whose leaders I have coached include Starbucks, lululemon, Bell Canada, Microsoft, Stitchfix, The Cooperators and Allstate Insurance, to name a few.

What I Believe

The foundation of powerful leadership is presence, and presence begins with relationship. Not just with others, but with yourself.

When you’re grounded in your own clarity, honesty, and awareness, every interaction changes. You listen more deeply. You respond with intention. You connect in ways that build trust, inspire commitment, and move things forward, whether you’re leading a team, holding space for a difficult conversation, or navigating high-stakes moments.

My work begins at that foundation. Together, we explore the relationship between being present and having presence. We reconnect you to your nervous system, breath, and physical awareness, the often-ignored pathways to clear thinking, emotional nuance, and intuitive strength. This work isn’t about performance. It’s about accessing the qualities already within you when you’re at your best, and learning how to return to them by choice, not chance.

If you’re ready to lead, listen, and live with more clarity, confidence, and impact, I’d be honored to partner with you.

Why Breath?
A foundation of my work is Breathexperience, a breath awareness practice that focusses on the simple physical sensation of the movement of breath, as you let it come and go on its own. It is not about breathing right. In fact, the operative verb is not to breathe. It is to allow.

By learning to sense the movement of your breath as it is, you develop the ability to be with what is: your own sensations, thoughts and feelings, and thereby other people and the circumstances. This simple skill gives you the space and capacity to interrupt reactiveness and instead, choose to respond in a way that serves your intention and your values. It gives you access to your unique resonant voice, your expressive body, your vivid imagination, and your astute cognition.

What is Clean Language?
We humans use metaphors to make sense of our world.
A few examples:
-
A millstone around my neck
-
I feel out at sea
-
Throw some light on the subject
The Clean Language process focuses on honoring and exploring your own metaphoric use of language. It consists of a series of twelve questions designed to keep focus on your metaphorical landscape. As your coach, I do not interpret or paraphrase but only repeat your exact words. As the questions progress, your inner intuitive guidance moves you toward resolution that feels right for you. Your inner wisdom thereby speaks to and through you.

Who I Work With
I work with people who feel a deep pull to contribute, who see their work not just as a job, but as a vehicle for impact. These are leaders with an inner mission: to make life better for those around them. They understand that leadership is fundamentally relational. They’re not chasing status, they’re cultivating connection. They want to become what I call relational artists.

My clients are courageous, curious, and self-aware. They know the real work starts within. They take responsibility for the world they create — in themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Whether they’re leading a company or guiding a small group, they know their presence shapes everything. And most of all, they’re willing to risk being real. To grow. To laugh. To let the process be as human as it is powerful.

If that sounds like you, we’ll do great work together.
